Those of the more prescient among you will see a larger trend. Strong Civil Rights activists and leaders are being mowed-down by rabid police forces, in direct contravention of the principles enunciated in cases like NAACP v. Claiborne Hardware, 459 U.S. 898 (1982) as noted here:
